ABOUT US >>>
|
A decade ago the emergence of the Internet and wireless technology provided an opportunity for Rochelle to enter the world of communications at Digital Equipment Corporation. While there she launched early initiatives for the Intranet as a Specialist in the World Wide Marketing Division. Following a promotion she joined the Customer First team, where her program management resulted in best practices embraced by divisions in Europe, Asia Pacific and throughout the US. Since that time Digital was gobbled up by Compaq computers (eventually HP). As the technology market exploded Rochelle landed a role as Marketing Director for Corechange (now OpenText), where she had the awesome role of orchestrating efforts for marketing Coreport – a wireless protocol. The campaign "Mobilizing Corporate America" was launched in three countries - impacting markets from Sweden to Australia. The wireless protocol launched through Coreport is now commonplace technology for 3G mobile devices and Rochelle was instrumental in landing Microsoft and Nortel as clients. The campaign’s success landed 32 Million in funding for the team even during the 2000 market downturn that held back the IPO offer – enabling the company to survive when most folded. Each stage of her career stirred a passion for branding products, creating campaigns and collaborating with agencies that eventually led Rochelle to pursue and obtain a Masters of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications. Today RTA Communications collaborates with a team of marketing professionals that strengthen Rochelle’s offerings so that clients reach their full potential in the marketplace and realize results that maximum media impact and sales revenues. |
